Coastal Guardians

A virtual fieldwork excursion to Collaroy–Narrabeen on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land and coastal waters of the Northern Beaches, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise Aboriginal peoples’ continuing connection to Country, and the knowledge systems that have cared for these coasts for tens of thousands of years.

Illustrations on this excursion were created for teaching. They are not original photographs of the 2016 storm.
